What to expect during your first visit
We are dedicated to the pursuit of excellence and safety in caring for our patients and hope your visit will be pleasurable and informative. We will begin with a personalized consultation from which your best plan of treatment can be formulated. After contacting our office and scheduling your first visit, an information packet will be available online or it can be mailed to you. This packet will contain information about the procedures you are interested in, as well as forms to complete and submit (via secure website) or print out, complete and bring to our office on your appointment day.
During your initial consultation, your visit will consist of an in-depth consultation with Dr. Brill evaluating what you would like changed, how that can be accomplished, and the risks and benefits of the procedures you are considering. We also offer non-surgical procedures for your total skin care needs. Dr. Brill enjoys the opportunity to get to know each patient as an individual. In order to insure maximum benefit from the time allowed it is very important to be prompt for this visit. This is a great time to get all the answers you need and to learn exactly what Dr. Brill believes is possible for you. You can view images of other patients with similar body types who have had the surgery you are considering and you can discuss the various choices you have concerning your procedure, such as implant type, incision location, etc.
Joy, our office manager, will work with you to establish a convenient date for the surgery and supply additional information to help you prepare for the operation. She will explain all of the business and financial details of the procedures you are considering as well as postoperative care.
If you are from out of town, it may be possible for you to have your initial consultation on one day, and your surgery the following day. Ask Joy about your travel and care needs. Visit the “Traveling to the Center” section for more information.
